What is the Process?
We know the process of going solar can seem daunting. That's why we are by your side the entire way through - from determining your needs, to designing the system all the way until the panels are mounted on your roof.
Most people only thing about the panels on the roof when they think of solar but, it's a lot more complicated than that. Just like automobile tires have different options based on terrain you will travel, vehicle you drive, mileage warranty and quality - solar panels have many manufactures, qualities, life expectancy, and warranties. In short selecting panels for your home is like getting tires for your car - except you're stuck with them for 25+ years. Add on top of the different ways to finance the system, power invertors and other equipment and it can quickly get overwhelming - if you don't have the right partner to guide you through the process.
Our Process
- Send us your power bill - This gives our team a change to determine your historical power consumption and helps us get an idea of how much power your system need to produce to sustain your home. Also as part of this process we check your roof (through our online program) to determine the amount of direct sunlight your roof gets based on which was your roof faces and the overall square footage of your roof.
- Free Design Service - Our team designs a system to fit your needs based on offsetting the historical power usage. Our team knows exactly where to place the panels to get the most out of them on your roof.
- Free Consultation - Our team will sit down with you one-on-one to review what your options are as far as panels you want to use, financing options, different components like batteries for power storage, and help you see what the exact process and costs will look like for you to make the shift to solar.
- Schedule Your Install - We typically will schedule the install 3-6 weeks our. During this time we go to work getting the plans approved by the city and the utility company and getting any required permits. We handle all of this so you don't have to. Also during this time we will have an inspector come out and physically inspect your roof and attic to make sure that every can be built as planned.
- Install the Panels - Installs usually take a full day and our crew gets it right the first time!
